"Clash Over Cassino" recreates the fierce air war fought over Italy during 1943–1944 as Allied forces pushed north following the invasion of the Italian mainland. While ground forces battled through the Gustav Line and the brutal fighting around Monte Cassino, Allied air forces sought to destroy German supply routes, communications, and defensive capabilities. Opposing them, the Luftwaffe fought desperately to protect the German defenses and slow the Allied drive toward Rome.
Come join us for a glorious air battle of P-47's, P-38's, P-51B's, and B-24's of the 15th Air Force vs. the Bf 109G-6’s and FW 190A-5's of the Luftwaffe and C.205's of the Regia Aeronautica.
